Description ::
SH 780 is a one-part, non-flowable silicone RTV which cures rapidly at room temperature
and can stick to most of substrates. As it is an oxime cure of silicone RTV, it does not
cause corrosion on metals except copper.

//--------------------- Technical Properties-----------------// TYPICAL PROPERTIES ::
A Dow Corning (owners of Silastic & Molykote Brands) product.
Ease of use - One-part, Non-solvent.
Fast tack free - Tack-free time is approx. 6 minutes at 25 degree centigrade.
No corrosion – Being an oxime cure of silicone RTV it does not corrode metals (except copper).
Adhesion - Develops excellent adhesion to most materials without use of a primer.
Excellent Dielectric Properties - Cured rubber exhibits good dielectric properties.
Excellent Thermal Stability and Cold Resistance - Cured rubber provides wide service temperature range.

SH 780 is neither tested nor represented as suitable for medical or pharmaceutical uses.

SH 780 is available in 100g tubes, 330ml cartridges and 20kg pail cans.

Tack free time at 25°C & 50 % RH – 6 min.

After curing for 3 days:
Specific Gravity at 25 Degree C – 1.03
Hardness (JIS Type A) – 25
Tensile strength – 1.5 Mpa
Elongation – 510 %

After curing for 7 days
Lap shear adhesion strength (Glass) – 58 N/cm2
